 1992 964 Carrera 2 Coupe Manual LHD.

German delivered later model with improved engine seals and brakes. Imported in 2000 and one previous UK owner of 15 years, I have owned 4 years.

Black with Black leather interior. Matching numbers. Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. 97,100 miles (156,200klms). Very well maintained.

Chris Smith of Devon Racing has done most of the mechanical work since I bought the car in 2015, including a major overhaul . The engine and gearbox were removed in order to service the engine and put right various oil leaks, and fit new tinware, engine seals including RMS, new clutch and many other items such as heat sheilds distributor belt and bumper stays.

The brake callipers have all been rebuilt recently and new pads fitted.  964 RS lightweight flywheel and new clutch, KW3 adjustable suspension, RS rear anti-roll bar. Strut brace. Cat bypass, Steve Wong chip, sport exhaust, new tyres on 17" Cup wheels plus additional set of Mille Miglia 18" wheels.

In 2015 glass out repaint was carried out and the usual minor rust issues properly dealt with around the screens. The paintwork done to original factory colour by DB Autobodies  is exceptional and all panels fit perfectly and included new windscreen, all new window and body seals, new bumper supports, new heat shield, new aircon pump, evaporator, condensor and dryer. New headliner. New rear lenses and rear reflector strip. New headights.

Original hand books, many thousands in bills. Overmats.

The 964 Carrera 2 Manual is near the pinnacle of the original design concept- It is quiet and supple, yet small fast and efficient, the ultimate analogue experience, last of the original 911 shape.

Fully sorted and in exceptional condition with some sensible improvements, it has many similarities to an RS, but with a better ride. Nicer to drive than my old 964RS lightweight.
